Mar 2012 A Twin Beech for Lorraine Morris!!
I heard from one excited lady today, and when I popped open the pictures she sent along, I understood why. Â I’m so happy for you Lorraine – sounds like you and Ken just found the love of your lives! So cool you “lusted” after such a great old twin taildragger and finally have your “beauty” back home. I’m visualizing you and Tina Thomas each flying your Beech 18s to pancake breakfasts all summer long! (Lorraine Morris is based at Poplar Grove Airport.)
“Just wanted to let you know that we have gone completely crazy. We realized that you ‘can’t take it with you’, so we went out and bought the plane we have both lusted after for years.”
Air 1! 🙂 Â Coming home yesterday.
“We got a Beech 18! It has been sitting for a few years, so needs some TLC. I wanted to share my enthusiasm! Maybe we will bring it to the flyin this year!”
 Now it goes in for the annual.. Ugh!
