Oct 2013 Amy Hoover (Pilot update from Washington)
Amy Hoover is based at (KELN) Bowers Field Airport, Ellensburg, Washington.
It was a busy summer; I gave over 120 hours of mountain/canyon flying instruction in the Idaho back-country. Also had a few spare moments to fly the “Canyon Goddess” and do some backpacking. Here is the Goddess at Sulfur Creek Ranch in the Frank Church Wilderness – hoping her paint isn’t too tempting!!
Now am back in Washington at the University and students are back in school. Ahhhh, summer never lasts long enough. Come visit in McCall any time between June-September to see our wonderful Idaho back country and do some flying.
