A fly-in destination doesn’t get much better than Gaston’s Resort in the beautiful hill country of north-central Arkansas. Gaston’s is a spectacular resort on a long grass strip with cottages within feet of the runway. For campers, Gaston’s is making a rare exception and allowing our group to camp-out under the wings of their aircraft. 
There’s just NO WAY not to get excited about Gaston’s.
 I was there last year and it was love at first sight – I believe it has everything we need for a fabulous & fun long weekend:
- Spectacular scenery
- A long grass runway

- Lots of cabins (priced as low as $89 nite for 2 beds)

- Lots of great airports close-by for fly outs and our poker run

Runway 06/24. All aircraft land runway 24; takeoff runway 06. Search Youtube for dozens of videos of every imaginable aircraft landing at Gastons; DC3s, Bonanzas, Beech 18s, Cherokees and of course ALL the taildraggers you’re going to see at our flyin. Check out this video to start:
Early arrivals are Thursday, May 29 or come earlier for some extra time in the Ozarks – explore the area by air or ground or fish for trout on the White River.
