NEWÂ Â “A&P Written Testing” from Ramsey Family Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is donated by Todd and Julia Ramsey to assist an aspiring A&P student test for all (General, Airframe, and Powerplant) FAA written exams. Recipient must past the first test in order to receiving funding for the next test. Tests can be taken in any order. Funds will be sent directly to FAA testing facility. Testing must be scheduled within one year from date awarded.

- Â Preference given to female applicants.
- Â Applicants must be signed off by the FAA (Form 8610-2) to test for the written exams by March, 2017.
- Â Applicants must include a short essay (500 words) on their aviation career goals
NEWÂ Â A&P Scholarship from Louisville AWAM Chapter
The Louisville chapter of AWAM is offering two $1,000 scholarships towards A&P schooling. Funds will be sent to the recipients’ aviation college in March 2017.
(Two scholarships will be awarded)Requirements: All AWAM Scholarship Checklist items, plus:
- Â Applicants must be female.
- Â Applicants must be a student in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, or Tennessee.
- Â Applicants must be a sophomore, junior, or senior of an A&P program.
- Â Applicants must include a short essay (500 words) explaining why she deserves the scholarship.
- Â Applicants must be an avid volunteer in her community
NEWÂ Â Aircraft Electronics Technician Scholarship
Flamingo Air/ Airline Ground Schools (flamingoair.net) is the first aerospace and technology school of its kind to be accredited by ASTM International, a forum where industry experts come together to create standards when new industries look to advance the growth of cutting-edge technologies. This scholarship covers the cost of tuition for the Aviation Electronics Technician course based in Cincinnati, OH. Cost of books, materials, and the final AET test is the responsibility of the recipient. Courses must be scheduled within one year from date awarded.

Abaris Training ScholarshipsAbaris Training Resources, Inc., known for their quality advanced composite training, is pleased to offer the following scholarships to three individuals. Transportation & housing are the recipient’s responsibility. Courses must be scheduled within one year from date awarded.

Aircraft Electronics Association Avionics Technician Scholarship AEA, founded in 1957, represents more than 1,300 aviation businesses including repair stations specializing in maintenance, repair, and installation of avionics and electronic systems in general aviation aircraft. Their mission statement is to “be a worldwide, self-sustaining organization committed to enhancing the profitability of its members.” AEA is pleased to donate a $1000 cash award to be given to an avionics technician student. Aviation Entrepreneur Magazine represents “more than flight” by providing essential business information to help all aviation entrepreneurs start and operate a successful aviation business. Baker’s 4 Day IA Training Course & FAA Testing Scholarship Baker School of Aeronautics located in Nashville, TN is proud to donate their IA course as a scholarship. This scholarship includes their 4-day Inspection Authorization course to prepare for the FAA IA Exam, FAA testing, New FAR AMT Handbook, 5-night stay at a local hotel, and $300 cash. Bombardier Aerospace Maintenance Training Course Scholarships Bombardier Aerospace is proud to offer one scholarship for a Lear 45 (10 day) Initial Maintenance training course. The scholarship recipient must, as a minimum, be the holder of an FAA A&P Certificate. The course will be conducted in Dallas, Texas.
