Best Airport Hangars!

Let’s try this again! I think I’ve got the bugs fixed and you should be able to upload pictures and see them immediately. Don’t forget to add your description to your pictures.

Cool Airport Hangar Contest

Most people think of the hangar that houses their airplane as a necessary space to protect their investment, a place to change the oil, get some work done and stash their tools. Others upgrade their hangar ever so slightly by throwing in a gas grill and a few second-hand chairs.

The Banman Live-Work Airplane Hangar created as the model for developing Santa Paula Airpark’s fly-in community.

And then there are those special folks that furnish and decorate a corner of their hangar and turn it into a cozy retreat. A rare few spare no expense and, by the time they’re done, it could be the center-fold in Architectural Digest Magazine.

Your hangar may not be in that league but if its really cool here’s your chance to upload a picture and show it off. Don’t have a cool hangar but have a picture of one? Upload it! This is a new plug-in I’m trying out. Don’t forget to add a description, your name and airport where the hangar’s located.

Last week I was in the hangar at KEFD Freya Shiller posted a picture of. It’s the best hangar I’ve ever seen. The tile floor was gorgeous. And it was full of warbirds, which is why I was there.
