Jul 2010 Beverly Clark (Oregon)
Beverly Clark is based at Corvallis Municipal Airport (CVO), Oregon.
I fly a 1947 Cessna 140. Â I have been flying it for 5 years and love that little airplane. Â It actually belongs to my brother, the bush pilot, but I exercise it for him while he is in Alaska.

Posted at 18:03h, 23 NovemberI recently discovered a Clark family Bible given to my mother, Myra Hendricks by Elton E. Clark in Corvallis. In the accompanying letter it stated they had a daughter, Bev and I’m trying to trace her for family tree information. Are you this Beverly?

I have a great adventure for you and your 140 to get out of the valley and stretch your legs! Come to my Woman Wise Airmanship Adventure this July in Idaho. Details on this site or my own http://www.mindelevations.com. It promises to be the year’s highlight for women pilots! Fun, learning, outstanding recreation, and new friends. Camping is free. Lodge and teepees across street for minimal fee. Come out and meet some kindred spirits!

I am still getting the hang of perusing and posting on this blog and didn’t see you there before. I’m still working toward soloing, but at some point it might be fun to try to get us Oregon LLT’ers together at Independence or something. I hope you still get to plane-sit for your brother! First Saturday of the month is always the pancake breakfast at Twin Oaks. It would be great to see you there!

Welcome to LLT!!!! What a beautiful 140!! I know you have a lot of fun with that – even if it is only on the weekends! You’re not alone — most of us all “work to buy gas money”! Hope to see you some time soon! I know it’s a long haul from Oregon to Ohio for the fly-in! You’re brother won’t mind … will he??
Cheers!
