Woohoo for you and for me!! THREE awesome lady taildragger pilots based at C77 have taken on the BIG task of hosting our 2017 LadiesLoveTaildraggers Fly-in and I’m about as happy as a gal can get. Truth is, I am far away, kicked back while these ladies are busy planning our 2017 LLT fly-in. Ahhh, life is good! 🙂

#1 Kelly Jeffries: RV8 taildragger pilot, captain for American Airlines and the lady who just won’t rest till LLT comes to her airport. That’s Kelly, as in Zumba Kelly, who’s led us in Zumba at multiple LLT fly-ins, has been a member of LLT since way back and always inspires us. Kelly has endless energy and enthusiasm for all taildraggers. Kelly is the #1 reason our fly-in will be at Poplar Grove so if you meet her – thank her!!
#2 Tina Thomas: Tina & hubby Steve Thomas own Poplar Grove Airport (C77) and I’m convinced Tina’s about the busiest lady taildragger pilot on the planet. Don’t believe me, just stop by on your way too or from OSH. She just might meet you at the pump and make sure you have everything you need. Tina flies a C180, Waco SRE & Beech 18, but she’s also involved in the FBO, maintenance shops, administrative offices, and parts department.
#3 Lorraine Morris: Lorraine’s a taildragger gal with big time credentials who has been known to fly multiple Aeronca C-3s, her & hubby Ken’s Beech 18, flies left seat in EAA’s B-17 Aluminum Overcast, is active in restoration of Cessna 120s & 140s, and enjoys flying many other taildraggers. Oh ya, and her day job is flying the big iron for United Airlines!
It’s hard to believe that any of these women have time to pull our LLT fly-in together but they are getting it done besides their busy schedules!
