Following up my post “Fuel Starvation Happens“, here’s a perfect example. Bill Dickey posted this video on Facebook in response to my post. It’s a Cessna Caravan dropping jumpers, runs out of fuel and makes a dead stick landing. Amazing to catch this on video. Guess the message is, do the things that are necessary to assure your aircraft keeps flying. Don’t let “mission focus” keep you from doing the things necessary to keep the aircraft flying.
