Jul 2013 Coolest flight ever!
I’m happy as I can be ’cause I made it! To AirVenture! Only 3:35 Indianapolis to OSH. It was severe clear departing Indy but in less than an hour we were flying under a cloud deck around 2300′.
The flight became “the coolest flight ever” when we hit Lake Michigan and started our flight up the lake.
I’ve flown the route before but never as PIC. What an incredible feeling flying at 1850′ with the Chicago skyline off the left wing.
