Jun 2016 Day THREE to the LadiesLoveTaildraggers Flyin

Joey Baker had several boxes of silent auction donations waiting for us. Thank you Justine for these two awesome metal signs.

The town of Sulphur Springs has a small town feel with some big city attractions & restaurants. You won’t believe the mirrored bathrooms!

We heard there was a not-to-be-missed aviation museum at Mount Pleasant, TX and with such a build up, we weren’t about to miss it. What a fantastic surprise to find LadiesLoveTaildraggers member Kayleigh Bordner under the wing of a P-51 polishing away.

Kayleigh Bordner, CFII from Indiana State University, posed with museum collection owner Scott Glover’s P-51. At the Mid America Flight Museum.

Scott was a gracious host and fantastic tour guide, explaining the history of each aircraft and amazing little surprises about each. Scott showing us his 1925 Waco, serial #9. First mass produced aircraft in the U.S.
