My dream job since I was a kid was to be a stewardess, but had I known, I could have been a pilot!! Oh life would have been so different. Then along came this man and his taildragger and my life has been turned upside down in such a tremendously beautiful way on so many levels. He told me I could learn to fly and I just didn’t believe him…a few flights later I knew I had to learn how to do this, and I did!!!
I’m 55 years old and just got my rating in November of 2017. I fell in love with a man with a taildragger and our first date was a flight in it and I fell in love with flying. The first time I went in a small plane was when I was 24 and I loved it then as well, but it never even crossed my mind that I could learn how to do that.
One of THE most amazing moments of my life was passing my check ride.
I currently own a C150M and now that I have my license, I can’t wait to transition to tailwheel.

Dream Taildragger: I’m currently looking at one to possibly purchase, a C150M Texas Taildragger. Crossing fingers!!
Thoughts about taildragging: I haven’t flown one yet, but I am up for the challenge of it and to improve my stick and rudder skills so I can continue to progress in my flying skills.
