The race consists of two-person teams flying over the course of four days. All teams are required to check in at each of nine stops along the route, and must be at one of these stops by nightfall. Because the teams fly a variety of different aircraft, the race is based on a handicap for each team, not necessarily who crosses the ï¬nish line ï¬rst.

Completing the 4 day race, Dianna & Victoria were the 20th team to make it to the finish at Batavia, Ohio on Friday. They would not find out their final standing until Sunday night though.

Batavia, Ohio – The Racing Aces were announced as the first place winners of the 36th Annual Air Race Classic at Sunday, June 24th’s ARC Banquet.

This is the 2nd year Dianna & Victoria teamed up as “The Racing Aces”, last year flying one of only two taildraggers entered in the race.
