Right now, the tailwheel is being rebuilt. As soon as that is done, I hope to finish my checkout and get going.
I’ve been flying since 1986. I ended my flying career as a Captain in a B727. Now I just fly for fun until I get the ride business going. A new age barnstorming kind of thing is what I am hoping for.
As for taildraggers, it’s the 1946 J3, 1940 UPF7 and we are building a Steen Skybolt.
My mailbox was pretty drab and falling over so one day I quipped I was going to paint it cub yellow. Next thing I know my better half is grabbing the saw and planer. My best friend is grabbing a sander and my awesome a&p is reaching for the spray gun. Then BAM! I have the coolest mailbox on the planet.
