Hi all, I’ve been flying a taildragger for 16 years now and still get giddy everytime I fly. I had the wonderful opportunity to fly a 185 on pipeline patrol–actually got paid to fly!! Let me warn you though–it can take the fun out of flying- a bit.
I just turned over 4,100 hours in my log book and most of them have been in my Citabria 7ECA. I LOVE it and have been all over the United States in it. Even took her up to Leadville, Colorado and out to Catalina Island. Most of my flying has been in my home state Michigan, but I now live in the part of the country I like to fly the most–out West and in the mountains. Idaho back country is a fav destination.

I could write a book about all the places Dennis and I have flown and were not even close to being done yet. We are considering purchasing two Bearhawk Patrol kits so we can go to even more places than my little Citabria will allow!! Hope you are able to get your butt off the ground on occasion!! D.
