Jan 2018 Emmy Dillon (Kansas)
Emmy Dillon is based at KOJC, Johnson County Executive Airport, Olathe, Kansas.
I’m an Aviation Systems & Human Factors engineer for Garmin International. I’m a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aerobautical University – Daytona Beach and am currently completing my Master’s Degree through ERAU. I’ve been flying since I was 16 years old and plan to never stop! I’m currently working on my tailwheel and high performance endorsements and CFI training. I’ve raced in the Air Race Classic in 2015 and 2016, winning 1st place collegiate and overall in 2016. I have a lot of goals and plans for my flying career, like owning a vintage airplane, fly a warbird, teach and inspire women (and men!) of all ages to fly and pursue their goals, and get my mom to fly in an air race with me. I’m very excited to be a part of such an inspiring group of ladies – I’m looking forward to getting to know you and learning from you!!
