Bücker Jungmann owners and pilots, Gail & Doedo Schipper from Longmont, Colorado are on a flying adventure in the planning for months. They are in New Zealand flying a Cessna 172 on a charted Air Safari tour. Gail is blogging about it daily so please follow her at  Flying on our own – Masterton, New Zealand Travel Blog.

Here’s a few tidbits from their trip.

We started the New Zealand Air Safari today. We’ve been in NZ almost a week and have done our license conversions. Our first cross country experience was flying across the Scott Channel between the two islands to Masterton staging for the start of the Safari.
