Jan 2019 Happy 2019 to everyone who loves taildraggers!
Woohoo, 2019 is here. I admit it – I had a fabulous 2018 and flew more PIC miles in my Decathlon and traded time with Boyd in his RV7 than any single year in the past!
I was fortunate enough to attend the Amelia Earhart Festival along with one of their special guests, around-the-world-pilot, Ann Pellegreno. Oshkosh 2018 and our lady taildragger gatherings were the best yet. And our LadiesLoveTaildraggers Haunted Flying Tour was SPECTACULAR. I had an incredible year of aviating alright and was lucky enough to fly one of the mothers of flying excursions – a 10,800 mile trip around the perimeter of the U.S. with Boyd – the best flight of my life!
Please get out and fly ladies. 50 Miles. 100 Miles. 10,000 Miles. I hope your 2019 is filled with flying fun, hopefully in a taildragger!
