May 28 – May 31, 2015
KSLR Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport

Early Arrivals, Thursday, May 28
– Beat the crowd! Fly in and set up camp or check into your motel
– Breakfast & Lunch available till 2 pm across the street at the Red Barn Cafe
– Dinner downtown. Share rides today only. Several restaurants will have a “Taildragger Dinner Special”

Friday, May 29
– Arrivals all day
– Breakfast at your motel or Red Barn Cafe
– 11:00 – 2:00 Lunch available on the field – food trucks!
- 11:00 a.m. group departure for fly-out lunch, destination KOSA, Mt. Pleasant Regional Airport. Ground transportation to local restaurant. Incoming aircraft meet us there!
– Take a Legend Cub demo flight (on floats and gear) and visit Legend Aircraft
– 5:00 Zumba with “Kelly-RV8-Jeffries” in front of the old terminal bldg
– 6:45 Lady pilots group picture before dinner
– 7:00 Tex-Mex Dinner; pilot briefing for everyone participating in Saturday’s Poker Run, update from “Val-C195-Slocum” on the Bent Prop Project, check out silent auction items
– After dinner, ice cream for sale/ flying stories free
– Evening, Miranda Lambert’s Red 55 Winery will be on site sampling wines and selling by the glass & bottle. Yes, THE Miranda Lambert!

Saturday, May 30
– Arrivals all day
7:00 – 9:30 a.m. breakfast available on the field, EAA Chapter 1094
– Take a Legend Cub demo flight and visit Legend Aircraft
– 10:00 a.m. group departure for Poker Run. This is Saturday’s big event so please fly along. Due to extreme rainfall in the area, all grass strips are being eliminated from the poker run. I’m really sorry but they are either under water or past the saturation point. Check back soon for the new route. Poker Run to benefit the LadiesLoveTaildraggers Scholarship Fund. $25 Hand/Purchase at office upon arrival/registration
– 11:00 – 2:00 lunch available on the field – food trucks!
– 4:00 Plane Walk; a group walk down the flight line meeting each pilot & plane
– 6:45 Lady pilots group picture before dinner
– 7:00 Dinner (must buy tickets at office upon arrival/registration).Silent Auction ends, Poker Run winner announced. Come prepared with “Your funniest & most embarrassing flying moments”.
– Evening, Miranda Lambert’s Red 55 Winery will be on site sampling wines and selling by the glass & bottle.
– After dinner, dessert for sale/Late nighters, party on!

Sunday, May 31
– 7:00 – 9:30 a.m. breakfast available on the field, EAA Chapter 1094
Departures

Notes:

• Upon arrival at KSLR all pilots should register in the new terminal building. Friday & Saturday evening dinner tickets must be purchased at this time. (No ticket, no dinner) $25 Poker Run donations will be collected.

• Shuttle schedule TBD; between airport, motels, downtown restaurants

• There are restaurants within walking distance of motels
