Jacque Swan (Oregon)

Jacque Swan is based at KSPB, Scappoose Industrial Airpark, Scappoose, Oregon.

Jacque Swan and the green and white Pacer I fly.

My interest in aviation came late in life when my sister asked me to volunteer at a North West Antique Airplane Club Fly-In at Pearson Airfield in 2009. I joined that day and fell in love with the taildragger and the many pilots and airplane enthusiasts I now count among my dearest friends.

The Funk is the one I love.  (1946)

I am a Student Pilot taking lessons at Scappoose Industrial Airpark in Oregon. My instructor and I fly a Piper Pacer 22-20 and I am having the time of my life with it. Although it has taken me longer to master the landing of the conventionally geared aircraft, I plan on sticking with it. I never really wanted to fly anything else.

Thanks,

Jacque Swan
