Mar 2011 Judy’s new wings!
Happy news -it’s official – it’s mine!! I now own this lovely Rans S7 Courier longtail! It’s a done deal and I don’t believe it myself yet. I think I’m still in shock! We finalized the deal this afternoon and the annual is tomorrow. I haven’t even got to fly it yet because it’s out of annual but that’s all going to change on Sunday. Â I’m REALLY anxious to see how it flies on the amphibian floats.

Boyd and I are at Minocqua, Wisconsin right now where the Rans has been based. The weather’s not going to be great tomorrow anyway with snow and high winds gusting to 40 mph forecast so might as well get the annual out of the way. If all goes well, I’ll get a few practice landings in Sunday and head back the 500 miles to Indy.

I learned to fly many years ago in a T-craft, new Champ and a 1940 Aeronca Chief. I am currently building 3 Rose/Rhineheart Parrakeets in Texas with 2 buddies. We hope to have them flying in the next year or 2. I am on facebook and we have a Parrakeet Factory page there under my name Scott Sewell.
