I am currently a student pilot learning to fly a 1948 Cessna 140. I live in Sisters, Oregon. Every day I fly, I say to myself, “And I get to live here!” My husband and I own the Sisters Airport, and he has a Baron 58P twin which he uses for business. He has flown for many years, and now it’s my turn to learn. I finally carved some time out of my crazy schedule, and am well on my way. Our daughter Cammi also just soloed, right after her 16th birthday. So now we are truly a “flying family”.

My instructor is Brian Lansburgh, who is doing the instruction for the tailwheel endorsement scholarship. He is an excellent instructor (he is both my 16-yr old daughter’s and my primary instructor), and a lot of fun! Congrats to the winners – you will love learning from Brian, and coming to Sisters!
