Kat Sutphin is based at 78OR, Crowley Ranch Airstrip, Crowley, Oregon.
Moved to Alaska 1987 from Finland. Learned to fly in AK initially in a Super Cub, then got into Helio Couriers and Socata Rallyes plus later on Cessnas, Pipers etc. Worked as a flight instructor at Merrill Field, Anchorage, AK before moving to Oregon. Nowadays living in Eastern Oregon on an isolated cattle ranch, where I have a couple of airstrips.
Ratings: Commercial, Instrument, ASEL, AMEL, CFI, CFII
Aircraft Flown: Piper PA-18 Super Cub, Helio Courier(H-250, H-295, HT-295) Helio H-800, Helio H-700, Socata Rallye 235E and of course lot of different Cessnas and Pipers, also Bellanca Scout, North American T-28A.
Favorite Taildragger: Helio Courier

I like anything with wings that is a STOL airplane, don’t matter if it’s a taildragger or tri-gear as long as it does what I need it to do.
