Ladies Love Taildraggers ‘Must Attend’ list, AirVenture 2017

AirVenture (OSH) is the one place on earth you’re sure to run into oodles of lady taildragger pilots. That single fact makes it my #2 fly-in destination every year. Come-on now, you know my #1 fly-in destination every year is the LadiesLoveTaildraggers’ annual fly-in! If you’re a lady taildragger pilot, or wanna be a lady taildragger pilot, get yourself to Oshkosh, Wisconsin this July 24 – 30 any way you can! I have THREE fabulous LadiesLoveTaildraggers’ events scheduled at AirVenture and I’d love for you to be there for every one of ’em.

Event #1 Noon Lunch, Tuesday, July 25

We have a NEW location for our Tuesday lunch meet up and I promise you are going to love it! No more sweating at the Hilton in the hot sun. This year our luncheon’s at the Tall Pines Cafe by the Ultralight Field, across from Vintage Parking. Take the tram and it’ll drop you there.  Steve Nesse, who I’ve never met but fallen madly in love with, not only agreed to let LadiesLoveTaildraggers use their building but arranged for his volunteers to grill an amazing lunch for us; Brats (same delicious brats as Lambeau Field), sweet grilled corn on the cob, chips, drinks, and for our sweet tooth, the Queen’s Apple, a dessert of apple slices, caramel, whipped cream and nuts, with a cherry on top. I told you you’d love it! The Tall Pines Cafe needs a relatively close headcount so if you plan on joining us, please say ‘yea’ or ‘nay’ below.  Please select a valid form

Three lady taildragger pilots – three Vintage aircraft will be featured and the ladies interviewed. They need your support! Come and wear your LadiesLoveTaildraggers tshirt!  #1 Ann Pellegreno on the 50th anniversary of her around-the-world flight in a Lockheed 10 following the Earhart trail. #2 Sarah Dickerson along with her beautifully polished 1946 Cessna 120 discussing the leap from private pilot and CFI to an ATP airline career. #3 ?? I’m looking for one more lady taildragger pilot who will be flying a taildragger to AirVenture and would like to participate. Contact me!
