Feb 2013 LadiesLoveTaildraggers site will be down beginning Sunday, February 24
Whoopee! Big changes are coming to the LadiesLoveTaildraggers website!
It’s amazing how LLT has grown since our launch 4 years ago. There are now hundreds of lady taildragger “pilot profiles”, hundreds of aviation related posts and thousands of pictures and videos. Unfortunately, much of the content is difficult to access and communication between members and website visitors is difficult. We are about to change that!
Beginning Sunday, February 24, LadiesLoveTaildraggers will be shut down to upgrade the system and make modifications to improve usability.
In two phases, over several weeks, we will launch the upgrades.
– Phase 1 will include a new look, be user friendly, easy to navigate and will allow the best user experience whether you’re on a computer, tablet or smartphone
– Phase 2 will integrate a social networking platform. Â You’ll finally be able to chat with anyone on the site, Â create your own “conversation groups”, and interact more like Facebook.
All these upgrades are complements of my very talented son, Craig Birchler, who happens to have a Master’s Degree in Informatics/Human Computer Interaction & Design! He has spent many hours working behind the scenes getting it ready to launch on Sunday. We are both working to make sure the transition is as smooth and seamless as possible but we’re expecting some glitches. Please hang in there as we figure out what in the world we’re doing!
We’ll begin upgrading the site on Sunday, February 24 and anticipate we’ll be down 1 to 3 days.

Thank you, Judy & Craig! Craig, you’re a real sweetheart for doing this for us – I bet it’s taken a lot of time and effort that could have been used doing something else, but it’s greatly appreciated. I can’t wait to see the new site!

Wonderful news! It will be good fun to be able to find our LLT friends and communicate easily. I, too, have a computer son who launched me 30 years ago. 🙂 Thank you Judy and Craig!
