Laura is based at KMYF, Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego, CA.Â
Laura is originally from Ireland. She moved here when she turned 20 to become a pilot. Her father is an American citizen so she had an easy time getting a green card. This was great because she says she couldn’t have made it to PPL in Ireland as it’s even more expensive. She worked as a dispatcher for six years in a very busy FBO while she worked on her private licence. A couple years after her private, she worked as a camera operator in aerial survey. She says she’s easy going and always up for some fun!

Laura’s dream taildragger: Because I have access to a Citabria in my local club I’d have to say that one! of course the Stearman wasn’t too shabby!
Laura’s thoughts on tail dragging: I love the laid back culture that tailwheelies epitomize.
