Linda Fore (Oregon)

Linda Fore is based at Stark’s Twin Oaks Airpark (7S3), Hillsboro, Oregon, and flies a Super Cub and Cessna 185.

Private and Instrument rated pilot. Retired US Navy. My husband and I own a 1979 Cessna 185F and 1968 PA-18.  I fly both but love the Super Cub!

We love flying the Idaho backcountry! I recently moved to Oregon and am enjoying all the grass runways but looking for more.  If you know of any private ones that welcome taildraggers, please send me an email. Better yet, lets go flying and go there together! I also write for Pilot Getaways magazine.

Linda can be reached at hfore@aol.com

    Linda,
Another backcountry enthusiast! I love Shearer for great fishing. Come to my Woman Wise Airmanship Adventure posted on this site and my own: http://www.mindelevations.com. AOPA, EAA, WIA plan to send writers to cover event. You’ll learn, have fun, and meet great women pilots. Backcountry instruction is available (extra) for those that want/need. Check out the brochure. I want some OR pilots to attend. So far women from 13 states are planning to attend. Please Come! It’s affordable too.

Hey Linda! I used to rent out of Starks Twin Oaks all the time when I lived in OR. When I got my own plane I moved down to Aurora, but now I live in Florida. I miss Oregon, though, such a great aviation community up & down the Willamette valley. I can’t wait to get back there!

Hey, Linda! I saw your beautiful bird today but by the time I got back from flying and got to your hangar you were gone. I will definitely try again.
