Posted at 21:24h, 20 MarchI love, love, love Saratoga, WY. Not too far for the Colorado gals. It is a great town to spend a day in. The airport is nearly on top of the town. I think it is about a 1/2 mile hike down hill from the airport to town. It has lots of cute little western stores, fantastic fishing (if you want to stay for a day or two) and some great restaurants. Hugus & Co is a nice family diner right on the river with great variety and prices. For something a little fancier, The Wolfe Restaurant is fancier and pricier, but the steaks are wonderful and the atmosphere is fun (vintage restore job on an old, old hotel).

Posted at 16:44h, 06 MarchI recommend Hampton Airfield 7B3 in New Hampshire for anyone in the area. Gravely grass, a fantastic restaurant, great people and fantastic maintenance shops. There are many little events all year long there the fly-market in April being one of he more notable. Hamptonairfeild.com and a little gas will get you there. And don’t expect the other airplanes to have radios or the wind to blow down the runway.
