My husband and I own a Cessna 140 that we fly out of our backyard, just north of Madison, Wisconsin.
I’ve been inactive fore quite some time and want to get back into flying this year, mostly so I can fly for Pilots ‘n Paws, a rescue group.

Posted at 01:06h, 01 DecemberMy girlfriend was enjoying a ride in N-140 as a passenger, when the plane was owned by a lady, and operated out of KAWO, Arlington. I eased the 150 up to her side and over the radio I asked her to marry me…. she said YES !!! that was 8/25/1975… still married !! That little 140 is very special to us. Hope to see it n person again someday.

Posted at 12:23h, 16 MarchBeautiful 140! I also love the shot of 6P3. I had fun landing there one summer and checking out the ‘neighborhood’ along the runway. I also liked that the airport has a place for pilots passing through to take a a break. Martine, I’m excited that you’ll be taking part in Pilots & Paws. I’ve flown a couple of missions, 2 dogs each, and it was so rewarding. I’m based about 33 NM to the east, so I hope to catch sight of your airplane some time!
