Natalie McHaffie (Canada)

Meet Natalie McHaffie who is based at KYKF, Waterloo Regional Airport,  Etobicoke, Ontario Canada. Natalie sold her Pitts Special in 2012 and is currently “shopping”.

Hi everybody,

I fly a Pitts Special two seater at Waterloo Regional Airport. I’ve never been very competitive but I have entered aerobatic contests most years since I learned to fly in my forties.  The first contest I flew in the ‘Sportsman’ category with just 27 hours on my license. I’m especially proud of my daughter who flies airlines and trains airline pilots.

I’m really looking forward to the taildragger summer fly-in – a great idea.

Nat

Natalie, Very inspiring story. Proves we are never too old and it’s never too late. Hope to meet you someday. I fly a Scout in McCall Idaho. Ever get down this far?

Nat this is Ransom, is the pic. of the Pitts, the one you rebuilt? Also I’m using my name translated into Hebrew in case you don’t recognize the e-mail or the facebook invite I sent. I’d love to see you fly. Oh yes, are still painting clouds?

Hopefully sometime you have an event in Toronto and I can film the whole thing. Yours would be a wonderful story to tell.
