This is the best time of year for flying and camping here in the South. The Lazy S Airport 7FL7 (1825′ x 100′ grass strip) will open its gates to 7.5 acres of pristine pasture for your camping pleasure Friday, November 18 – Sunday 20th.
Friday night we will keep it simple with Pizza, Salad and Cold Beer. Saturday morning we will have a fly out to Williston for breakfast or if you wish to sleep in, a continental breakfast will be available on the Pilot Porch at the big hangar. I will have a van to provide shuttle service for those interested in a Kayak trip on the Santa Fe River or Oleno State Park or visiting High Springs. Dinner Saturday will be a hearty Ham and Bean Soup with corn bread available at your leisure from 3-6 pm.
Amenities include, bathrooms, shower and the Pilots Porch with kitchen and a hot tub. A fire pit, water and porta potty will be located in the camping area. If you are driving in, generators are available if needed as well as a dump station.
