OSH 2015 – Tuesday

Day 2 @ OSH. Sunny, a little breezy but doable if you flew in today. We met some awesome women tailwheel pilots at our LadiesLoveTaildraggers luncheon. Many of us struggled to get from the south side of the field to the north side for our 12:30 luncheon but you can see by the pictures it all worked out in the end.

There’s one overwhelming theme that runs through this group of gals – they truly love taildraggin’. In our group today was a B-17 pilot, a student pilot getting instruction in a taildragger, a woman who rebuilt an Aerona Champ, an A&P/IA, CFI & CFII’s, sport pilot, private pilots, instrument pilots, seaplane pilots and more.

Lorraine Morris will be flying the B-17 Friday at OSH.

The days aren’t long enough to take in all the fun, the forums, the airshow, and the amazing people you find at AirVenture. It’s only begun and you still have time to get yourself to OSH. The fun doesn’t end till Sunday, July 26 so get in your flying machines, your cars, your RV’s and get here soon!
