Patsy Meridith

I’ve fallen in love w/ flying!!  I’m 62 and got my private in 2009, my instrument rating in 2010, my commercial in 2011 and my taildragger endorsement just a few weeks ago.  My husband and I just purchased a Just Aircraft Highlander (factory is in Wahala, SC).  I’m a newbie at taildragger flying, but have over 700 hours in a Piper Warrior & Archer.

Lynn Gardner built this Highlander at the Just Aircraft factory. I saw photos of her on the website.

I fly out of 0A9 Elizabethton, TN (northeast corner). Our dream is to fly across the country in our new taildragger, so we’re very excited to meet others who’ve had that experience.  So glad to get to come to your fly-in.  Sounds like a lot of fun!!  See ya’ there!

    Patsy,
    I need a favor. Can you look up the part # on the AMsafe seatbelts on your plane and email or call me. A friend needs a set and the new guy in sales can’t find the number. Should be on the stitched in tag on the belt. Thanks. 386-235-1447 Lynn

    Hi Patsy;

    You have a beautiful plane and a real performer. Check out the utube video of dead stick landing and takeoff—–in a Highlander. Add the Johnson Creek Supercub Idaho flyin to your list of must do’s. I would love to meet you.

    You may want a little bit of insider info on mountain flying though

    Blue Skies and tailwinds,

    Victoria
