Jun 2013 Patty & Jeff Plantz new ride
Jeff & Patty Plantz tell me they nearly have the 40 hours of test flight time flown off their amphib home-built. They planned on attending our Lady Taildraggers fly-in last weekend but weren’t able to fly the time off fast enough. N577PJ with an IO-360 (180 hp) on floats would have been right at home on Pickwick Lake at Savannah, TN. Patty & Jeff, congratulations – looks like all that hard work paid off. We’ll count on seeing you and your pretty new bird at next year’s fly-in!
