Here’s one little lady that’s come a long way in a short amount of time. Congratulations to Shalyn Applegate for all her aviation accomplishments.

FYI, young women …. and young men, the sky is the limit, literally, when it comes to careers in aviation. If you are smart, passionate about flying, focused and determined, you can achieve your goals.

Watch out for Shalyn – this is one lady taildragger pilot who will get the job done.

From my first solo, through many checkrides, ratings, and endorsements, to signing off my first student for checkride, that beaten-up logbook has so many awesome flights in it with so many amazing people.
