Dec 2011 Sue Kruger (Oregon)
Sue Kruger is based at Twin Oaks Airport, Hillsboro, Oregon.
I orginally learned to fly 20 years ago in tricycle gear planes. I quit flying for a number of years but could not get flying out of my head. So I bought Husky A-1 from the State of Utah with the thought it would be far more fun to have a plane I could land in the backcountry. I love the challenge of flying a taildragger.

I am based at Lenhardt’s Air Haven in Hubbard. Have you met Vanessa who flys a Cub based at Twin Oaks? There is another taildragger gal at Twin Oaks named Linda. There are a number of women pilots in our area who recently connected and are getting together to fly, although our weather has not permitted much lately. Anyway, I’d love to meet you. I learned to fly in the 70’s and recently got back in the sky after about 12 years.
