Sep 2013 Sunday at Tullahoma
My flight from Indy to Tullahoma, TN turned out to be one bumpy ride yesterday but I had nobody to blame but myself. We all know that if you want smooth air you get up early and get going.
Turned out that 11:30 was way to late to depart to avoid the bumps and rain. Luckily the only rain I had to deviate around was this small shower but I had the S7 cranked up to stay east of some heavier stuff. 1.5 hours got me past the low, dark clouds off my right wing and put a smile on my face when the sun popped back out.
Sharon Tinkler was there to greet me at the end of 27 grass with radio in hand and led the way to her beautiful home and hangar.
I got the airport tour, figured out the lay of the land and am getting plenty of lovin’ from my new buddy, The Captain.
Beautiful sunset here last night and big plans today–the Beechcraft Museum and a fly in visit from Donna Guerin in her crimson Cub!!
