I’m a 64 year old Australian. I have been flying for 25 years. Taildraggers for 20 years. I have a Turbulent (Ultralight) for 18 years and also have a C150 Texas Taildragger.
I live with my husband on a property on the Finniss River where we have our airstrip. I love to fly, and was given the web address by a friend. Couldn’t wait to check it out. So great to see all the ladies and their aircraft.

I’d love to see photos of your airstrip property on the Finniss River. What a lucky girl! Never heard of a Druine D31 Turbulent so that was fun to hear about but of course I know a Texas Taildragger. Two planes! Life is really good for you not to mention flying for 25 years. We should all be so lucky. When I get to Australia, I will certainly look you up. That travel is on my MUST DO list… Have you seen Monika Petrillo’s video Fly About? I live in central Idaho and fly the backcountry. Lots of fun. Glad you’ve found fun lady taildraggers.
