Victoria Neuville (Maryland)

Victoria Neuville is based at KFDK, Frederick Municipal Airport, Frederick, Maryland.

I’m a commercial pilot out of Frederick, MD. I haven’t flown actively for the past two years and am now ready to get back into it. I figured the best way was with some new training, so I decided it was finally time to become a CFI! I have several hours in my friend’s Decathlon and hope to be signed off for that this year as well. I love hosting events introducing others to aviation. My current work has brought me to schools, libraries, and airports with my therapy dog, Turbo. Along with my co-author, I have written 3 children’s books all about Turbo and his flying adventures! I am the head of customer service and an agent at Aviation Insurance Resources (AIR) an aviation insurance broker.

Ratings: Commercial, Instrument. I am currently working on my CFI and then tailwheel!

Aircraft flown: Cessna 172, Cessna 182, Cessna 172RG, Beech Baron, Cessna 170, Decathlon, Super Decathlon, Pitts S2, Glasair RG,

Dream taildragger: A Waco!

Thoughts on taildragging: At least with the taildraggers I’ve flown, I love the simplicity of them. Not too many buttons and dials and no flaps. You just fly the aircraft!
