Hope you’re staying nice and toasty this winter … in the pilot’s seat of your favorite taildragger!

This is what Indiana looked like this weekend from the front of the Champ – at 15 degrees outside!

That’s what it’s all about this time of year. The people I know that are still out there doing it, have figured out a way to dress for it. If you’re warm, flying doesn’t get much better than the dead of winter! What a fabulous shot of a C185!

    The fabulous shot is of a C185 Skywagon. You can tell the difference by the size of the dorsal fin. A 185 has a larger dorsal than a 180…
