WWaa: a Life-Flight Plan

Cascade, Idaho. Tiny town. Big mountains. And for 5 heavenly days, lady pilots are everywhere.  We are all here to participate in Christina Tindle’s ‘Woman Wise AWEsome Adventures’, a gathering for women pilots where a multitude of advanced flight training options are available. Add to that Christina’s program for developing a personal Life-Flight plan, and it’s a winner.

This year’s flight time slots filled up quickly.

Several CFIs are available including Lisa Martin giving backcountry flying instruction in her Supercub.

It’s wonderful to see so many women taking advantage of this opportunity to fly with some great instructors and hone their flying skills.

I’m going to feel better flying the last legs of our flight carrying this survival kit. It’s compact and light weight and would be worth its weight in gold if ever needed. Thank you Christine Mortine for your presentation at WWaa and bringing a few of your kits along for purchase.

I wasn’t about to miss the opportunity to meet this group of gals. We stopped by Cascade for a couple days and have totally enjoyed ourselves. Our plan was to spend 2 nights here with these amazing ladies then continue our perimeter flight. The weather gods had other plans for us. We flatlanders are staying put for the time being!
